Ms. Handayani has a background in epidemiology and health promotion. She is a lecturer in the Public Health Program, Faculty of Health Sciences at the Universitas Dian Nuswantoro. The appointment was effective on September 5th, 2019, passed on by Director Nurjanah who had been leading AHLA Indonesia Country Office since its establishment two years ago. It is hoped under the management of Ms. Handayani, AHLA's Indonesia Country Office will continue its work to improve its performance and contribution to health literacy in Indonesia.
