The Asian Health Literacy Association (AHLA) is pleased to invite AHLA members to submit proposals to host the 19th AHLA International Health Literacy Conference  in 2029.

         As AHLA continues to strengthen its regional and global network, we invite our members to play an active role in shaping the future of the Association by hosting the Conference in 2029.

        Eligibility

        This call is open exclusively to current AHLA members. Proposals may be submitted by:

        • Individual AHLA members affiliated with eligible institutions.

   • Groups of AHLA members representing a university, research institute, healthcare organization, government agency, or professional association. 

        • Collaborative teams consisting of multiple AHLA member institutions.

Institutions that are not currently represented by AHLA members are encouraged to collaborate with existing AHLA members when preparing a proposal.

      Timeline

      • Call for Proposals Opens: July 2026

      • Proposal Submission Deadline: To be announced

      • Proposal Review: By the AHLA Executive Board

      • Host Announcement: Following approval by the Executive Board
