Announcement of the 2027-2028 AHLA President and Vice Presidents Election Results

The Appointed Election Committee executed the nomination and voting process for the positions of one (1) President and three (3) Vice Presidents according to the following timeline and procedures:

March 3, 2026: The Committee made the announcement to organize and welcome the nomination for the upcoming leaders.
June 5, 2026: The Election Committee verified list of eligible voting members; that is, institutional members who paid their 2026 dues, as well as institutional applicants who committed to pay the membership fees by November 1, 2026.
June 24, 2026: An online, open presentation session was hosted by the Committee to allow all candidates to present themselves to the members and the international health literacy communities. Following this, the electronic voting survey was distributed to all eligible voters, that is, 20 valid institutional members each with one representative, via email.
July 7, 2026, The voting period officially closed, and 17 electronic ballots were collected (85% the turnouts).
July 7, 2026, The Election Committee convened to review, tabulate, and certify the results.
