Ass. Professor Sabrina Kurtz-Rossi, Global Health Institute of the Tufts University Medical School, received AHLA Yufong International Health Literacy Award, forwarded by AHLA Hon. President Prof. Peter Chang, in Boston during the recent event, the Tufts’ School of Medicine Global Health Seminar Series 2025-2026, in April 21.
AHLA planned previously the YFIHLA to Sabrina in 2022 during the 8th AHLA in Lugan, Changhua, Taiwan. The event in 2026 in Boston has been a late arrival of honor to Sabrina.
Prof. Elena Carbone, Uni Massachusetts Amherst, Vice President and President elect of the International Health Literacy Association, the IHLA, also joined the event, as well as Prof Michael Paasche-Orlow in Tufts, also the Editor-in-chief of the Health Literacy Research and Practices, as well as several leading professionals.
