AHLA Membership Announcement
The Asian Health Literacy Association (AHLA) is pleased to welcome global partners for joining the AHLA and update the membership guidelines for both institutional and individual members. This update is based on the decision of the AHLA General Assembly in May 2024. 
AHLA would like to welcomes scholars, educators, practitioners, organizations, and institutions committed to promoting and advancing health literacy research, practice, and policy in Asia and beyond.

Benefits and conditions
  1. Rights to organize AHLA-endorsed workshops and conferences. 
  2. Opportunity to establish an AHLA office. 
  3. Rights to vote in AHLA General Assembly , including presidential elections, as well as the candidates for the President and Vice Presidents.
  4. Permission to use the AHLA logo for official academic or institutional purposes. 
  5. Inclusion of the institution’s website link on the official AHLA website.
  6. New members will be announced on the AHLA website.
  7. One delegate to the AHLA International Conference will be waived of registration fee if with at least two delegates.  
  8. Nominate and become candidates to receive AHLA Global Health Literacy Awards and the Yufong International Health Literacy Awards. ​
  1. Enjoy 80% discount of the registration fee when attending the AHLA International conferences, 
  2. Free to attend AHLA workshops/webinars, with certificate.
  3. Receive updates related to research opportunities, programs, events.
  4. With the permission to use the research tools owned by AHLA (e.g. HLS-EU-Asia-Q47, HLS-SF12, DDL-4, e-HDL-11).
  5. Individual members are not eligible for voting in the AHLA General Assembly, as well as the candidate for President and Vice Presidents.
